Terms of Reference for Proposals

Further to our post on The Substation Post-Town Hall Update, a set of Terms of Reference for the proposals has been drafted. The Terms of Reference are intended to provide guidance to interested parties, and we make them available here for full transparency. The process is necessarily structured as there may be conflicting proposals received from diverse members of the arts community with very different views, and we have to be prepared that we may also receive proposals that may not come through the Substation Venue (future) Secretariat. We hope that these will not discourage anyone from submitting their proposals. Thank you, should you decide to do so.

We will review proposals collaboratively with the proposers and with members of the arts community whose counsel we will and continue to seek. As mentioned in the Terms of Reference, we ask proposers to be prepared to have a discussion with arts community representatives.
