Embark on a 45-minute journey with The Substation as we present our first interactive experience in this Wednesday evening session, facilitated live online by guest artists for arts enthusiasts everywhere.
As we wind down for the year, this December’s Sub 45 Live will be hosted online by somatic artist and movement educator Vincent Yong, as he guides participants through a beginner-friendly 45-minute experience to connect with your body. Through somatic movement, which integrates performing arts, physiology, psychology and sociology, Vincent will lead participants in exploring how movement can help release our physical and mental tensions and how they can bring this dance into their daily lives. By letting the body lead the way, participants can learn how to use breath and movement to get a respite from our fast-paced lives and the pressures of the outside world.
Join us with friends, family, and The Substation community for a midweek or weekend chill session, rain or shine, and all from the comfort of your own home. No need for fancy attire—just come as you are, donned in comfy clothes, and immerse yourself in a brief movement session that infuses art, mindfulness, and energy into your week.
