How does ageing look like in the subculture community? Is there a space for the marginalised in society when they grow old? In a future shaped by economists and capitalists, will there be a space for the creatives, punks and misfits to grow old? Featuring Shaiful Risan, Another Way Social Centre is a dialogue that looks at the possibilities of opening up spaces to age with dignity in non-conventional ways; for those who have always been unconventional and do not conform to a “normal” way of life. It’s time to start talking about how we can prepare an elderly home for those who live on the fringe.
This programme is part of "we are not going back, we are coming around", The Substation's programme for Proposals for Novel Ways of Being.
