First Take, happening every 1st Monday of the month at The Substation, is a popular screening of new local short films and is followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers. CALL FOR ENTRIES : 26TH TORINO FILM FESTIVAL

Deadlines: 29 August 2008 for shorts and documentaries / 30 September for feature films

The Torino Film Festival’s director Nanni Moretti invites submissions for the 26th edition from 21st to 29th November 2008.

Exhibition formats accepted are 35mm, HD, Digital Betacam, Betacam, DVD.
Preview screeners may be submitted as VHS tapes (PAL or NTSC) or DVDs (any regions).

All the films submitted have to be Italian premieres.

CALL FOR ENTRIES:
2ND ASIAN HOT SHOTS BERLIN 2009

Deadline: 1st October 2008, noon

We are now accepting entries for the 2nd Asian Hot Shots Berlin for recent Singapore short films, feature films, video art and installations completed in either 2007 or 2008.

Please submit two screeners together with a completed submission form.

Screening formats accepted are Betacam (SP) PAL, DVD, miniDV (PAL), 35mm and 16mm.
